Location: Crewe
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour, increasing to £14.97 after 12 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 22:00 – 06:00

Job Description
Driver Hire Crewe are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance & Reach Truck Driver to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Crewe.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced FLT driver looking for a stable, full-time night shift position with the opportunity to secure permanent employment.
The successful candidate must be confident operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks within a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operating Counterbalance and Reach forklift trucks.
- Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse.
- Supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring goods are stored correctly.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Valid FLT Counterbalance certificate.
- Valid FLT Reach Truck certificate.
- Both FLT certificates must be in date and issued by an external, recognised training provider. In-house training certificates will not be accepted.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Previous practical experience operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks.
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working permanent night shifts.
Pay & Benefits
- £14.00 per hour for the first 12 weeks.
- £14.97 per hour after 12 weeks.
- Monday to Friday – no weekend shifts.
- Consistent working hours, 22:00 – 06:00.
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
- Weekly pay whilst working through Driver Hire.
- Holiday entitlement and pension contributions.
