As a Gardens Supervisor, you will be vital in developing our gardens and grounds.  Supervising an enthusiastic, dedicated team of gardeners and volunteers, you’ll work closely with our Head Gardener to ensure the gardens and landscape are shown off to the highest standards of presentation.

About you 

You will have a creative eye, high-quality garden experience, great plant knowledge and horticultural skills; and a talent for team supervision.  You’ll know how to ensure visitors enjoy their day out – from sharing your gardening knowledge, to ensuring their health and safety.

This is a physically demanding role and involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, which requires a good level of fitness and stamina. You will regularly carry out tasks such as lifting, reaching, and stretching, and will be required to operate gardening equipment and machinery.

The successful candidate will be required to complete a preplacement questionnaire (PPQ) and your offer will be contingent on this.
