Location: Near Guildford / Cranleigh (Free staff transport provided daily)

Earning Potential: £1,000 Joining Bonus + Performance Bonus + Annual Salary Progression

Schedule: 36.75 hours per week (Term-time only! Enjoy 56 days of school holidays plus bank holidays)

Flexibility: Full-time or Part-time (Minimum 3 days per week, must include Tuesdays & Fridays)

You will join a multidisciplinary team of Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Behaviour Analysts. Working in small classrooms on a 1:1 or small group basis with autistic children, you will:

• Design and deliver interactive teaching sessions that focus on life skills and communication.

• Apply positive reinforcement and behavioural strategies to accelerate learning and support social development.

• Accompany pupils on fun, off-site community trips and recreational activities.

• Assist with daily school routines, including playground socialisation, lunchtime, and personal/intimate care where required.

You do not need a teaching license. We are looking for potential, empathy, and resilience.

• Experience: Professional, personal, or voluntary experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (e.g., support work, care assistants, tutoring, volunteering, or nursery work).

• Education: Minimum Grade C/4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Maths.

• Mindset: A calm, level-headed approach to high-pressure situations and an ability to confidently manage dysregulated behaviours.

• Fitness: Ready for a physically active role that involves plenty of movement, stooping, and working at lower heights.
