<p>Within Spares Purchasing your role will be to reduce spares usage and increase customer NPS, by driving supplier performance, increasing spare parts availability, reducing cost and delivering great customer service</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Role overview:</b></H2>

<ul>
<li>To assist the Buyers with placing and tracking of orders of Spare Parts required for repairs at the Customer Repair Centre and Field Operations – ensuring this is done on time and accurately</li>
<li>Support with basic enquiries and order status updates across a range of internal and external reporting functions – working with suppliers to provide accurate ETA’s for stock shortages</li>
<li>Support Buyers and Senior Buyer with monitoring of stock levels, and alerting the Buyer/Senior Buyer to urgent purchasing needs identified</li>
<li>Keeping accurate records of purchases, supplier details and key contact information</li>
<li>Providing support to the Buyers and Senior Buyer during negotiations by supplying data and helping to compare supplier offers – where relevant</li>
<li>Support the Buyers to track supplier performance based on leadtimes, quality and availability metrics</li>
<li>Ensure purchases are compliant with company policies and purchasing standards. Support the Buyer in ensuring all required processes are accurately documented, regularly reviewed and updated.</li>
<li>Coordinating logistics and handling associated paperwork to facilitate Goods Inbound</li>
<li>Monitor and act upon security/health and safety risks</li>
<li>Carrying out your role safely, accurately and efficiently</li>
<li>Carrying out any reasonable request from your Line Manager</li>
</ul>
