About the role
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Salary: Grade 4 (£25,583-£25,989 per annum, pro rata)
Contract: Temporary, term-time only
Hours: 5 days per week, 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM (Option for extra hours via after-school clubs)

We are seeking a suitably experienced Teaching Assistant to join a successful and friendly 11-16 comprehensive co-educational school in Horsham. Working as a vital part of the school's Inclusion Team, you will promote the learning and personal development of students across all subject areas. This rewarding role focuses primarily on supporting students experiencing a variety of learning, emotional, and behavioural difficulties to help them achieve their personal best.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated classroom support and work directly with specific students.
Promote learning and personal development for all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Foster a positive, safe, and productive learning environment.
What You Will Need:
GCSE Maths and English at Grade A-C (or equivalent).
Previous experience working within a school environment or directly with young people.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build robust relationships with students, staff, and parents.
The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
