About the Role:
- Provide Mentoring & Support: Offer one-on-one mentoring and group support, helping young people navigate challenges, make positive decisions, and achieve their personal goals.
- Plan & Lead Activities: Organize and run youth-focused programs, including sports, arts, workshops, and community engagement projects.
- Create a Safe & Inclusive Environment: Ensure that all young people feel respected, valued, and part of the community.
- Collaborate with Partners: Work alongside local agencies, schools, and community groups to offer holistic support for young people in need.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working with young people in a mentoring, support, or youth work role (preferred, but not essential).
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to inspire young people.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to undergo relevant background checks (DBS) and child safeguarding training.
