Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Rotherham – S64
Salary: £95-£105 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Contract: Long term Supply

About the role
Source Supply are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school in Rotherham. The working hours are 8:30 – 3:30 working on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday and is due to start in September.

You will be required to work along side the class teacher and the Inclusion Team to support pupils’ well-being and promote positive engagement in the classroom. You will also be required to work with students on a 1:1 and group basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of children within the Nursery setting
• Deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
• Promote children’s social, emotional, language, and physical development
• Support children through play-based learning opportunities
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
• Assist with observations, assessments, and learning records
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times

Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
• A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
