Secondary Supply TeacherLambeth, South London | £150-£170 per day PAYE | Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time | Temporary Daily Supply | October 2026 StartTradewind Recruitment is working closely with a range of secondary schools across Lambeth to recruit qualified Secondary Supply Teachers for flexible day-to-day cover opportunities from October 2026.Whether you're an experienced secondary teacher seeking greater flexibility or looking to broaden your experience across different school environments, this role offers the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance while continuing to make a positive impact on young people's education.About the SchoolsYou'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of well-supported secondary schools throughout Lambeth, gaining experience with different year groups, leadership teams and teaching environments.Role SummaryAs a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality classroom cover across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning during staff absence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day classroom cover across KS3, KS4 and KS5Deliver pre-planned lessons and support pupil progressManage classroom behaviour in line with school policiesAdapt quickly to different school environments and year groupsBuild positive relationships with students and staffSupport a positive and productive learning environmentProvide feedback to teaching staff where requiredFollow school safeguarding, behaviour and health and safety proceduresCandidate RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Recent UK secondary classroom experienceStrong classroom and behaviour management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsConfidence adapting quickly to different schools and subjectsA professional, flexible and reliable approachCommitment to safeguarding and supporting positive student outcomesAn Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain onePay and ProgressionThis position offers £150-£170 per day PAYE, depending on experience and individual assignment requirements.Pay is determined using the national teacher pay scale.
