About the role
We're not your average benefits platform – we're the driving force that uplifts people's lives. Our technology connects the entire benefits ecosystem, creating better outcomes for employers, employees, brokers, and providers.
Our mission is clear: to build a world where everything works at its best, ensuring every employee gets the support they need to thrive, both at work and beyond.
Your MissionAs our talent acquisition partner, you will help build Ben as it scales, hiring bar-raising talent across the business. You'll partner with hiring managers from first-line managers to the C-suite, getting under the skin of what each team needs to grow, and you will equally contribute towards building a best-in-class hiring process.
We're heavily invested in agentic tooling and already run agents and workflows built with Claude, Ashby and other platforms. You'll work with our Strategic Talent Business Partner to keep building and iterating on them, and we want you to think boldly about what an agentic talent function can do.
Things you will be working on…Hire bar-raising talent across the business: you’ll hire for a range of roles, from implementation, support and technical account management to commercial and engineering, bringing in the people who’ll take Ben forward as we scale.
Be a true partner to hiring managers: work with team leads, heads of department and the C-suite to agree what we need, when we need it and why, using data to guide those decisions.
Bring our employer brand to life: help elevate how Ben shows up, from events to the careers page, so candidates get a real sense of what it’s like to work here.
Build AI into how we hire: trial and build agents and workflows that give hiring teams better tools and free up time for the work that matters.
Make our hiring process best in class: gather quantitative and qualitative feedback from candidates and hiring managers, spot what’s slowing us down, test changes and keep what works.
Startup recruiting experience: you've spent at least a year recruiting at a startup, ideally in-house, and owned roles from intake to offer.
Hired for roles like ours: you've hired for customer roles such as implementation, support or technical account management, for engineering roles such as full-stack or product engineers, or both. You can explain how you judged a candidate's technical work. A bonus if you have it.
A sourcing track record: you find and engage passive candidates. Bring a hard search you cracked and walk us through how you did it.
Stakeholder backbone: you've managed demanding hiring managers, prioritised competing requests and pushed back when a brief or a process wasn't working. You can point to a time you changed a hiring plan because of what the business needed, and you keep several roles moving at once.
Hands-on experience with AI in recruiting: you've used sourcing agents and tools like Claude or Cursor, and perhaps built skills or workflows of your own, with the judgement to know when the output is good enough to use. A strong bonus if you have it.
Ben already helps hundreds of thousands of people across 30+ countries get benefits that actually work for them (pensions, insurance, allowances, payroll), at companies like Mondelez, Zalando, Octopus Energy, BA and more. We're now scaling further into the large enterprise space, and this next stage is the most exciting one yet.
You’d be the second person in the talent team, working on finding the bar-raising talent who will take us to the next level, with real influence over how Ben hires as we scale, and the room to grow your role and remit as we do.
We’re all in on building a truly AI native talent function, so you’ll be given the time to learn, experiment and help build the agents and tooling that change how we find and hire great people. If you want to help shape that, we’d love to hear from you.
Our Compensation & BenefitsIt's important to us to practise what we preach when it comes to our benefits.
