Keystage 2 (KS2) Teacher

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Harlington, Bedfordshire is seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2027.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines class teaching with PPA cover across Key Stage 2.
For 2.5 days each week, you will take responsibility for a Year 6 class, providing high-quality teaching and ensuring pupils are well prepared for the transition to secondary school. The Headteacher is currently teaching the class, but the school is now looking to appoint a dedicated teacher to take on this important role. This part of the timetable includes two full days of class teaching and half a day of PPA cover.
For the remaining 2.5 days, you will provide PPA cover across Key Stage 2, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining continuity of learning across the school.
The ideal candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally including Year 6.
Be confident delivering engaging and well-planned lessons across a range of year groups.
Be adaptable, organised and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Be committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
