MTrec Recruitment are proudly representing our specialist manufacturing client in their recruitment for a Quality Inspector to expand their current team due to significant business growth.

The Job you will do:

• Inspect plated and finished components at key production stages to evaluate quality standards

• Writing procedural documents

• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI)

• Conducts lab analysis   

• Safely and effectively use precision measuring equipment, including Vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges, bore gauges etc.

• Interpret technical engineering drawings

• Log precise inspection results, ensuring full data traceability.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support root-cause analyses and track corrective actions.

About you:

• NACE / AMPP - CIP Level 1 qualification at a minimum (Level 2 highly desirable)

• Experience working as a Quality Inspector or similar within engineering/manufacturing/chemical processing

• Familiarity with ISO9001 standards is desirable

• Comfortable working in a small team

• Good communication skills at all levels
