Location: Stechford, Birmingham B33
Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: 01/09/2026
Contract: Long-term, temp-to-perm

We are working with a friendly and established primary school in Stechford to appoint a dedicated KS2 Teacher for the upcoming academic year. The school is keen to hear from teachers with experience in either Lower or Upper Key Stage 2 and is equally happy to consider motivated ECTs eager to develop within a nurturing environment.

This is a full-time position for the full academic year, with the potential for a permanent opportunity for the successful candidate. Staff benefit from a strong and approachable leadership team, clear behaviour systems, and a positive, team-focused culture where pupil progress and wellbeing are at the heart of everything they do.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons
• Adapt teaching to suit the needs of pupils
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting support where needed
• Create a positive and structured classroom environment
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff and SLT
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers
• Support pupils through key transitions and preparation for SATs where applicable

What We’re Looking For:

• QTS
• Experience teaching within KS2
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching and learning
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils academically and socially
