Company Profile
Our client is a leading provider of industrial/commercial heating solutions. They provide a wide range of turnkey heating products and solutions to a diverse range of industrial customers and sectors within the UK and abroad.
Candidates must have the legal right to work within the UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for coordinating/scheduling boiler systems teardowns and maintenance
- Despatch engineers to customer sites for remedial repairs and maintenance activities
- Sources spares for repair and maintenance activities and ensures timely delivery of spares to site
- Ensure customers are kept informed of progress with repairs and related enquiries
- Generate reports and interrogate data to identify inefficiencies, inaccuracies and trends
- Ensure records are accurate and auditable.
- Arranges equipment hires and delivery to customer sites as required
- Raises purchase orders for spares, equipment hire and services
- Reviews SOWs and RAMs for accuracy and completeness
- Performs maintenance planning duties in addition to supporting field based maintenance teams.
- Generates quotes for small works such as routine spare replacements.
- Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities and basic defect elimination in the day to day execution of work.
- Responsible for tracking maintenance backlog and allocating resources to clear backlog
- Set realistic target dates for execution of the work.
- Set realistic “Required by Dates” for procurement of material and services.
Qualifications and Skills
- This role would suit an individual who has experience in maintenance planning, service scheduling, and despatching within industries such as industrial heating, HVAC, Oil & Gas or similar industries where engineers/technicians are despatched to customer sites.
- Preferred experience with BigChange maintenance software but is not essential
The Individual
- Proven track record demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office products
- Strong interpersonal and influence skills.
- Planning experience required within an industrial maintenance role (preferably industrial/commercial heating).
- Good working knowledge of a maintenance management systems
- Strong organisational skills
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
- Good communicator, accurately relates information, uses active listening to ensure own understanding and is comfortable with written, spoken or electronic media.
Salary
