Network Scheduler Fareham – on site Copello is working with a leading manufacturer within the aerospace industry. With a strong reputation for engineering excellence, the business is currently investing in a major transformation, including the relocation to a modern manufacturing facility that will support future growth and innovation. The Role As a Network Scheduler, you will be responsible for converting customer demand into an executable 0–3-month production plan across the manufacturing network. The role focuses on ensuring material availability, production readiness, and maximising customer demand fulfilment through effective scheduling and proactive risk management. Working within the Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) horizon, you will collaborate closely with Production Planning, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, and Network Planning teams to maintain supply continuity, resolve constraints, and support short-term supply chain performance. Short Term Scheduling & Demand Fulfilment Plan internal and supplier fulfilment of demand within a 12-week horizon, to maximise clear to build plan Responsible for translating network-level supply plans into master production schedules for production sites and supplier networks Determine production load distribution across affected plants and define buying volumes required to support the plan. Manage the impact of demand changes (e.g., new orders, cancellations, priority shifts) within the 12-week S&OE window. Convert demand orders into the repairs plan as required. Repairs Planning: Schedule and monitor M order due dates and align with operational readiness. SIOP & S&OE Execution Alignment   Plan schedules in alignment with SIOP direction regarding inventory targets, cost to serve expectations, and production utilisation goals. Communicate SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Plan) direction through weekly scheduling cycles and ensure it is operationalised within S&OE. Identify S&OE risks and opportunities and escalate appropriately to the Network Planner. Act as the first escalation point for short term issues impacting schedule adherence or customer commitments. Escalate issues to the Network Planner when constraints or conflicts cannot be resolved within the S&OE cycle. Performance & Recovery Responsible for customer recovery schedules and LOBs (line of balances), ensuring actions are clearly defined, tracked, and executed. Leads the plan to executing burn of arrears and past due orders to customers Support OTD performance through proactive scheduling, material availability checks, and cross functional coordination. Proactive Risk Identification & Mitigation Analyze short term supply chain performance to identify risks early (expedite needs, re routes, inventory re deployment and supplier constraints) Assess options and recommend mitigation actions to protect schedule adherence and customer delivery. Master Data, ERP Health & System Governance Repairs: Perform R BOM (Repair BOM) maintenance to ensure accurate planning and execution. Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and correct or escalate as needed. Cross Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations to ensure capacity, labour, and resources align with scheduled requirements. Work with Procurement to resolve material shortages, confirm supply commitments, and coordinate expedites. Collaborate with Customer Service/CSR team to confirm achievable commitments and communicate risks early. Support IPT (Integrated Product Team) collaboration on product issues, repair planning, and schedule impacts. Skills: •    Experience in production scheduling, material planning, or supply chain execution. •    Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, planning parameters, and master data health. •    Ability to prioritise, manage frequent changes, and communicate effectively. •    Strong problem solving skills with experience in short term risk identification and mitigation.
