🚛 HGV DRIVERS WANTED 🚛

C1 • Class 2 • Class 1 • HIAB

Looking for driving work with people who actually understand driving?

At Driver Hire Cambridge, transport isn’t just what we recruit for…

We’ve done it ourselves.

We’ve worked for the clients we send drivers to. We’ve negotiated the awkward yards, found the hidden loading bays and queued for the transport office kettle. That’s why we know which jobs are worth recommending—and which aren’t.

In fact, we’ll even meet you on your first shift, introduce you to the client and make sure you’re settled before you head out.

Our philosophy couldn’t be simpler…

👉 If we wouldn’t do the job ourselves, we won’t ask you to do it.

We’re looking for:

🚚 7.5-Ton (Category C1) Drivers
🚛 Class 2 (Category C) Drivers
🚛 Class 1 (C+E) Drivers
🏗️ HIAB Drivers (Brick Grab & Remote preferred)

The work:

✔ Local and regional deliveries
✔ Builders’ merchants, manufacturers, distribution and general haulage
✔ Ad-hoc, ongoing and temp-to-perm opportunities
✔ Flexible shifts to fit around your lifestyle

What you’ll need:

✅ The relevant licence for your vehicle category
✅ Driver CPC
✅ Digital tachograph card
✅ A professional, reliable attitude

Why choose Driver Hire Cambridge?

✔ Weekly PAYE pay
✔ Friendly office team who’ve done the job themselves
✔ Clients we’ve built trusted relationships with over many years
✔ Honest communication and proper support
✔ Work that’s matched to you—not just the first shift on the screen

Whether you’re looking for one day a week or full-time work, we’d love to hear from you.
