Leading Creative Direction

A Creative Director is one of the most senior positions within a creative agency, and depending on the agency, the role can sometimes overlap with that of a Managing Director.

Creative Directors are responsible for the creative direction of campaigns across channels such as websites, print, email and wider advertising activity. They help ensure the creative output reflects the client brief and maintains a consistent style and standard.

Having built up extensive creative experience throughout their career, Creative Directors will often have been involved in major campaigns for clients and developed the knowledge needed to lead creative teams and shape high-profile work.

Creative Directors can be found across agencies of all sizes, from independent businesses through to larger agencies that form part of national or international groups.
