About the role
We are looking for experience Care Support Worker in Gravesend.
Job title: Support worker for Single Occupancy Specialist House, supporting a young person with autism and complex needs.
Location: Gravesend
Working hours -1 week on 1 week off / morning shift and night shift
Pay rate £13.50 p/h
Job duties:
• Support with personal care
• Safe management of epilepsy and PICA related risks, and prompt recognition of changes in presentation
• Support with structured daytime activity and education engagement, working alongside tutors and the wider professional network
• Consistent use of Positive Behaviour Support
• Confident use of visual communication tools, including PECS and Widgit style symbols
• Facilitating and preparing for family time using familiar routines, photographs, social stories and visual prompts
