About the role
CNC MACHINE OPERATIVE
STOKE ON TRENT
FULL TIME HOURS – 39 BETWEEN MON-FRI
PERMANENT
UP TO £33K DOE
THE ROLE
- Machining of various parts from steel bar, castings or profiles, including finishing, cleaning and inspecting each part to ensure they conform to customer drawings and quality requirements adopting a right first-time approach
- Programming, setting and operating of Fanuc CNC machines in line with company procedures
- Machine maintenance as per company procedures
- Requesting consumables and tooling as required
- Following and conform to the Companies Health and Safety and Quality Procedures at all times
- Providing the highest standards of customer service at all times
- Adopting a right first-time approach
- Keeping a clean and tidy work area at all times
- Previous experience in a similar role using CNC lathes
- CNC Programming and setting experience
- Able to read customer drawings
