Candidate Criteria:

* Electrical Engineering

* Special Purpose Machinery

* Maintenance

* PLC's

· An electrical apprenticeship served (City & Guilds), HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition or similar

· A strong electrical basis with mechanical skills

· Experience of using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)

· PLC fault finding & diagnostics experience

Duties:

· To ensure machines and equipment are maintained to the optimum standards through adequate maintenance

· Using fault finding techniques, react quickly to faults and breakdowns, communicating clearly with affected parties and working efficiently to fix the issue.

· Minimise the likelihood of breakdowns by keeping equipment in a good state of repair and seeking continuous improvement opportunities by looking for ways to reduce the cost impact to the business as a result of downtime and ensuring a systematic planned maintenance programme is in place

· Communicate with production teams to advance plan for downtime on machinery for service/modification or repairs that need carrying out

· Maintaining a stock of critical spare parts as well as ordering parts for service and repair work

· Ensuring work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner and in accordance with health and safety regulations

· Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment

· Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and benchmarking best-practice

The hours you would work:

A 4 on 4 off rotating shift comprising of 07:00-19:00 and 12:00-24:00. During peak periods, shifts may change to 09:00-21:00
