Legal Secretary

The Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a successful law firm in Barnard Castle. This is a full-time, permanent position. Role Responsibilities

The successful Legal Secretary will be joining a busy Residential Property team, providing secretarial support to the team. Other duties include:

• Opening files on practice management system
• Corresponding with clients and other law firms by e-mail, letter or telephone
• Producing and amending legal documents
• Photocopying and scanning documents
• Diary management
• Typing dictation

Person Specification

The incoming Legal Secretary will be a motivated team player with the ability to work independently and always provide excellent levels of customer service. The candidate will also be able to:

• Show a keen eye for detail
• Prioritise deadlines
• Prior experience as a Legal Secretary is essential, experience in residential conveyancing would be desirable.
• Ability to work on own initiative
