Modular Building External Wrap Person

We are currently seeking workers to wrap Modular Buildings in visqueen sheeting, with an Immediate start.

You will be responsible for preparing the modular building unit for export by securing the visqueen wrap to the external timber using a battery powered hand driver. (Applicants must have their own personal powered hand driver).

Modular building unit dimensions roughly 13 metres in length and 4 metres in height.

This role is ideal for someone with construction or modular building manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast -paced growing industry.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

You will be responsible for wrapping a modular building unit around the length of 13 metres and a height of 4 metres with a plastic sheet type material and securing the sheet in place using screws and a powered hand drill into wooden beams in a general construction-based factory environment.

You will need to follow the health and safety regulations along with working as part of a team to carry out your main task along with other basic site duties to maintain a safe working environment. 

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience using hand and power tools (drills, drivers) is essential
• The ability to lift heavy components, stand for long periods, and work in varied weather conditions (if working on final assembly).
• Previous experience as a labourer, in a builder's yard, or with building materials is highly valued.
• High attention to detail is required to follow specific, strict assembly instructions to ensure components fit perfectly.

HOURS OF WORK:

• Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Friday 8:00am-3:30pm (If Early Finish)

PAY RATES:

• £14.75 - £16.48 per hours based on the skills

KEY INFORMATIONS:

• All staff must have their own PPE - Yellow High Viz / Gloves / Hard Hat / Safety Glasses & Safety Boots.
• Also, staff must have their own tools. For tools we would expect: Tape Measure / Battery Driver / Stanley Knife / Impact Driver / Hammer (Battery or 110 volts)
