Operational Asset & Marine Controller
Full -Time, Permanent

The Role:

Are you looking for an opportunity to build a career in the growing renewable energy sector? We are looking for an Operational Asset & Marine Controller to join our Control Room Services team, supporting offshore and onshore wind farms across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and Asia 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with technology, and being part of a team that helps keep offshore wind farms operating safely and efficiently. As an Operational Asset & Marine Controller, you'll monitor wind farm operations, respond to system alarms, coordinate with engineers and field teams, and support the safe management of marine activities, including personnel transfers and vessel operations.

Working closely with major renewable energy clients and key industry stakeholders, you'll play an important role in maintaining safety and operational performance across critical renewable energy assets. Full training and development will be provided, including support towards gaining industry qualifications, making this an ideal opportunity to develop a long-term career in the sector.

Please note: this role operates on a 12-hour day and night shift rotation.

What you'll be doing:
  • Monitoring renewable energy assets and identifying system alarms and events.
  • Escalating and coordinating operational issues with engineers and field teams.
  • Assisting with the coordination of offshore personnel, contractors, and vessels.
  • Maintaining accurate operational records and reports for clients.
  • Providing daily updates on completed and planned activities.
  • Supporting emergency response activities when required.
  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient operations.
What we're looking for:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of people.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating day and night shift pattern.
  • A Marine Coordinator qualification would be beneficial, but we will also consider candidates willing to work towards achieving this.
