Site Supervisor / Caretaker - Primary School - ChesterfieldLocation: Chesterfield, S21Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday to FridayWorking hours: 7:00am-9:00am and 2:45pm-5:45pmContract: Long-term supply, with the potential to become permanentStart date: ASAPTradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor / Caretaker to join a welcoming primary school in the S21 area of Chesterfield on a long-term basis.This is an open vacancy and could provide an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent position within the school.The RoleThe successful Site Supervisor / Caretaker will be responsible for helping to ensure the school premises are safe, secure and well maintained throughout the day.The role will involve opening the school each morning at 7:00am, ensuring the site is ready for the school day, and then returning in the afternoon to help close and secure the school at the end of the day.Working hours are:Monday to Friday7:00am-9:00am2:45pm-5:45pm25 hours per weekKey ResponsibilitiesOpening and securing the school premisesCarrying out routine site checksEnsuring the school site is safe, clean and secureReporting maintenance issues and arranging repairs where requiredSupporting with general site and premises dutiesSetting up and moving equipment when requiredCarrying out basic maintenance tasksEnsuring the school is secure at the end of the school daySupporting the school with any other reasonable site-related dutiesThe Ideal CandidateThe school are looking for someone who has previous experience working as a Site Supervisor, Caretaker, Premises Assistant or in a similar role.You will need to be reliable, practical and able to work independently.
