About the role
Key Accountabilities
- General cleaning/Litter picking
- Gritting when necessary
- Complete a schedule of cleaning tasks, as directed by the supervisor / management team
- Ensure that all tasks are carried out in a professional manner, following all "safe systems of work" & risk assessment directions
- Wear the correct and appropriate PPE specified at all times
- Comply with all statutory Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
- Comply with all health & safety regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings.
- Provide high personal standards of work/performance, personal hygiene and appearance
- Assist with any special duties requested, some of which may occur outside normal working hours
- Wear any items of personal protective equipment, as specified by the cleaning supervisor / manager
- Report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment to the supervisor / management team
- Report all building defects to the supervisor / management team
- Carry out any reasonable request, as specified by the supervisor / management team to attend all company meetings and training as requested.
- General day to day cleaning – Yards , Carparks , changing bins, etc
- Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
- As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
- Do you have experience working in a team and alone?
- Do you have basic English, this is required for the role?
