Manufacturing Process Lead

The company are a leading manufacturer and distributor of raw materials, ingredients and products to manufacturers in industries like pharmaceuticals, food, and cosmetics

They are seeking Process Technician for their operations in the Redditch area to compliment the manufacturing department within the organisation.

Primary job focus

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing he day to day manufacturing process operations with respect to processing, stock management and to support other functions across the manufacturing site.

Salary: £30k to £32k

Work Pattern – Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm rotating weekly

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production processes implementing the correct regulatory framework
  
  
• Manage stock levels in conjunction with BSC
  
  
• Assist with cleaning activities to maintain a high standard of food, GMP and warehouse hygiene
  
  
• Write and review procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
  
  
• Supporting all process activities
  
  
• Assist in production planning times to ensure client needs are maintained
  
  
• Check and amend any records to ensure right first time compliance
  
  
• Produce weekly and monthly stock reports relating to processing activities
  
  
• Facilitate stock audits
  
  
• Ensure all packing is available and reorder consumables
  
  
• Arrange transport for finished goods including delivery and consumables
  
  
• Maintain standards of quality management systems
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Previously worked in a process change role within a manufacturing or production environment
  
  
• COSHH knowledge and risk assessment experience
  
  
• Manufacturing experience to BRC, GMP or similar industry standards
  
  
• Knowledge of Word & Excel
  
  
• Ability to follow instructions and a high attention to detail
  
  
• A FLT licence would be an advantage
  
  
• Strong communication skills and a good telephone manner
  
  
• A knowledge of handling chemicals as well as qualification in IATA & ADR regulations would be an advantage
  
  

The role is based in Redditch so is commutable from Bromsgrove, Birmingham, Droitwich, Solihull, Worcester, Alcester, Strtford upon Avon, Kidderminster, Dudley
