Job Title: Cover Supervisor – Secondary Education
Location: Caerphilly, Wales
Salary: £110 per day

Our client, a leading specialist provider in the education sector, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join a vibrant secondary school in Caerphilly. As a Cover Supervisor in Caerphilly, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and well-being across various year groups, including Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage classroom activities for secondary school pupils in Caerphilly.
Support pupils' educational and behavioural needs in a variety of subjects.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with the implementation of lesson plans and activities.
Promote pupils’ well-being and ensure their safety during lessons.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and support teams.

Requirements:

Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or in the care sector.
A keen interest in working with children and young people.
Open to training and professional development.
Proactive work ethic and a positive attitude.
Good understanding of special educational needs (SEN).
Ability to provide support to pupils with diverse needs.
Patience, understanding, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
