Business Development Coordinator / Administrator – Durham
Overview
An opportunity for a Business Development Coordinator / Administrator to support a busy Business Development team within a construction business. This full-time, permanent role is based in Durham and covers opportunities across the North East and Yorkshire.
The Company
A diverse construction business operating across Civil Engineering, Affordable Housing and Commercial Build, with an established Business Development function focused on identifying and securing new contract opportunities.
The Role
Supporting the Business Development Director and Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining business development pipelines and CRM systems
- Recording and circulating key market and opportunity information
- Liaising with pre-construction and delivery teams
- Organising client meetings and business development events
- Maintaining business development intelligence and meeting records
- Supporting market intelligence across key sectors
- Administering bespoke management systems and information flows
Experience Required
- HNC/HND in a business-related subject, or A Level standard
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Previous stakeholder engagement experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong planning, organisation and attention to detail
- Confident, outgoing and able to manage competing priorities
Remuneration
£28,000–£30,000 per annum
