Site Operative – Outdoor / Waste & Grounds Support
Location: working between a darwen and blackburn site
Job Type: Part-time
Working Days: friday-Monday
Hours: 07:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated Site Operative to support the improvement and upkeep of a large outdoor waste management site in Darwen.
This is a hands-on role working outdoors in all weather conditions, with a strong focus on litter picking and general site standards. The role will also include additional tasks as required to help bring the site up to and maintain an acceptable operational standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out extensive litter picking across the site
- Supporting general site clean-up and maintenance activities
- Assisting with planned tasks to improve overall site standards
- Working independently to complete assigned areas efficiently
- Following all health, safety, and site rules at all times
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
