Artis HR are supporting a large, established organisation with the recruitment of an experienced HR Advisor to join their onsite HR team in Grimsby.

This is a hands-on HR role, working closely with employees and managers across the site. You’ll provide day-to-day HR advice while taking ownership of employee relations casework and supporting wider HR activity.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing practical HR advice and support across a busy operational environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from employees and managers

Managing employee relations casework from start to finish

Handling disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appeals and suspensions

Coaching and supporting managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice

Supporting recruitment activity, including coordination and administration

Providing support with payroll queries and processes

Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation

Working closely with the wider HR team to deliver a consistent HR service

Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives across the site

About You

We’re looking for someone with previous experience working as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role, with strong employee relations experience.

You’ll ideally have:

Strong experience managing ER casework from start to finish

Experience handling disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appeals and suspensions

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

A practical, hands-on approach to HR

Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG or other fast-paced operational environment would be highly advantageous

CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred

What’s on Offer?

Salary of up to £37,000

5 days a week onsite in Grimsby

Up to 33 days annual leave including bank holidays
