About the Role

AVTAV is proud to be working in partnership with busy airport catering and inflight services, to recruit Security Operative for their Heathrow operation.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team within a aviation environment.

The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting daily operations whilst maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, reliability and customer service.

Role Responsibilities

The role may include:

• Conduct screening and security checks in line with operational procedures

• Monitor and inspect goods, equipment, and personal belongings as required

• Operate screening equipment and follow all security protocols

• Identify and report any irregularities or prohibited items

• Maintain accurate records and documentation

In addition, all employees are expected to:

• Follow company procedures and operational requirements.

• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Work effectively as part of a team.

• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.

• Maintain a professional and positive attitude.

• Support colleagues and management in achieving operational objectives.

Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, security-focused environment

• Strong communication skills.

• Reliability and punctuality.

• A positive and proactive approach to work.

Technical Skills, Licences & Experience

• Aviation experience

• Security licence

Previous experience may be beneficial but should only be listed as essential where specifically required by the client.

Compliance & Security Requirements

Depending on the nature of the role, successful applicants may be required to complete pre-employment screening and compliance checks.

These may include:

• Employment history verification.

• Criminal record checks.

• International criminal record checks where applicable.

• Aviation security training where required.

Where applicable, training, vetting and compliance checks will be coordinated by AVTAV as part of the onboarding process.
