Maintenance Engineer

Location: Harrogate, North YorkshireSalary: £52,000+Shift: Panama 2s & 3s – Days & NightsWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Harrogate area.This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer looking to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment offering a competitive salary, excellent job security and opportunities to develop their engineering skills.The successful Multi Skilled Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, ensuring equipment remains reliable and downtime is kept to a minimum.Responsibilities of the Multi Skilled Engineer: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults. Respond quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns. Complete PPM schedules to a high standard. Carry out fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems. Support continuous improvement and reliability projects. Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime. Ensure all engineering work is completed safely and efficiently. Skills required for the Multi Skilled Engineer: Multi Skilled Engineering background with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge. Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment. Engineering qualification – NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent. Experience with planned and reactive maintenance. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced engineering environment.
