This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to join a successful manufacturing site, working within a fast-paced production environment with opportunities to develop their technical skills.You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, electrical fault-finding and reactive maintenance across a range of manufacturing machinery and equipment. Working closely with the wider engineering team, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, improving equipment reliability and ensuring production targets are achieved.This role would suit a hands-on, electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer who enjoys fault-finding, problem-solving and working in a busy industrial environment.Sector – ManufacturingNon-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias.Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.A minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance or a relevant engineering discipline. Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on manufacturing machinery.Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.Experience working with industrial electrical systems, motors, sensors and control equipment.Ability to identify faults quickly and implement effective solutions to minimise production downtime.Good mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills to support a multi-skilled engineering function.A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within an engineering team.Ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain high standards of health and safety. Desirable Requirements of the Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer Experience working within a fast-paced production or FMCG environment.Knowledge of PLCs, control systems and automated machinery.Experience with continuous improvement and reliability-focused maintenance activities.Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK manufacturing sector.
