Meridian Business Support are recruiting for a Care Home Manager (Residential Care) to lead a well-established residential service in Eye, Suffolk. This is a senior leadership role offering strong earning potential, excellent support and the opportunity to drive quality and occupancy within a respected care setting.

The role
As Care Home Manager (Residential Care), you will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance and compliance of the home, ensuring high standards of person-centred care and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:

• Providing clear leadership to the team, creating a positive and supportive culture focused on resident wellbeing
• Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and working towards high inspection ratings
• Managing budgets effectively to achieve financial targets and control costs
• Driving occupancy through local marketing, networking and relationship building
• Building strong relationships with residents, families and external professionals
• Leading, developing and supporting a multi-disciplinary team to deliver consistent care standards

Skills and experience To be successful as a Care Home Manager (Residential Care), you will have:

• Proven experience managing a residential or nursing home setting
• Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory frameworks
• A track record of achieving good or outstanding inspection outcomes
• Commercial awareness with experience improving occupancy and financial performance
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams
