Private Client Solicitor

My client, a niche legal practice in Manchester is seeking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding team.As you would expect, the role involves dealing with a range of matters including:

• Drafting wills and preparation of trusts
• Preparing powers of attorney
• Administering estates and trusts
• Advising in Inheritance Tax planning and issues
• Keeping clients up to date on progress of their file, acting in the clients best interest at all times.
• Managing the caseload effectively regarding cash flow through collections of monies on account and billing procedures.
• Ensuring that SRA and other relevant regulations are adhered to.

 The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE.  In addition they will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a mixed caseload unsupervised or with minimal supervision and have proven experience of wills, probate, trusts, tax and estate planning.In return, the company offers a competitive basic salary depending on experience, home or office-based working, 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) with the option to accrue extra holidays and purchase extra holidays.  Additionally, they offer flexible working, pension, progression and company events.
