We have an exciting opportunity for Software Developers to join a dynamic, creative and supportive company specialising in the development of cutting-edge software applications for use by police force and other public safety agencies. Personal specification Software Developer:
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) – Maths, Computer Science or Science Degree such as Physics, Biology or similar
- Knowledge of programming in Java J2EE/J2SE, C#, HTML5/CSS on web, desktop and mobile platforms
- Interest in Research and Development, ideally with a scientific or gaming background
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to discuss and present clients’ expectations to investigate and develop innovative technologies
Key Software Developer responsibilities:
- Develop cloud and mobile software solutions for emergency services
- Work on projects involving artificial intelligence, mathematical algorithms in various programming languages
- Investigate modern technologies in line with client’s expectations
- Collaborate and work with police forces, emergency services and global clients to develop new response models and capabilities
- Work on subjects related to data mining, predictive policing, risk and resource management and intelligence
- To work with your team, researchers and clients in a collaborative environment to contribute to the creation of new models of policing, fulfilling unique client requirements
