About the Role
CR3 are currently working with a school based in Chelmsford (Essex) who are looking to bring on an IT engineer to help their technology infrastructure running smoothly. This is an important role where you will be responsible for software, hardware and general support for teachers and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide IT support across the school, troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues
• Maintain and manage IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, Wi-Fi, and classroom technology
• Ensure data security and compliance with GDPR policies
• Assist staff with IT-related queries, ensuring minimal disruption to learning
Requirements
• IT support experience, ideally in an education setting
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and networking fundamentals
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills to support both technical and non-technical users
