Archers is supporting a growing Glasgow-based MSP & ICT Consulting client with the recruitment of an experienced Telecoms (with VoIP) / ICT Engineer. This is a great opportunity to join as a senior member of the team.

This job is a hybrid role, with the chance to work from home after probation. Some client work is delivered remotely, some will require travel to client sites.

To be a candidate, you will need the following expertise -

· Experience of telecoms programming and diagnostics.

· Proficiency in network troubleshooting and diagnostics; TCP/IP routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP

· Extensive knowledge of installation and maintenance of Horizon, Teams Voice and IP Hosted telephony systems or similar.

· Good experience in common IT infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, O365, SharePoint, virtualisation, back up and disaster recovery.

· Ability to use remote support tools such as remote desktop etc.

· A polished, polite and customer friendly manner; you’ll be unflappable!

· A willingness to work hands-on when and where required, driven by client needs.

· Able to work to deadlines.

· Flexible approach to your working day.

The hiring process is likely to be a first interview with the Head of Services, a further interview with senior management and HR, and the opportunity to meet some of the Engineering team.

There is no visa sponsorship available for this job. You must currently have the right to work in the UK.
