What You'll Be Doing

* Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Import and Purchasing teams.
* Raising, amending and maintaining purchase orders on our ERP system.
* Monitoring open purchase orders and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
* Liaising with suppliers regarding order confirmations, amendments, production updates and delivery dates.
* Tracking inbound shipments and communicating with suppliers, freight forwarders and logistics providers.
* Chasing outstanding order updates, shipping documentation and delivery information.
* Maintaining accurate records of products, suppliers, orders and shipments.
* Uploading and managing invoices, packing lists, shipping documents and customs paperwork.
* Producing reports covering order status, supplier performance, stock arrivals and shipments.
* Identifying overdue orders and potential supply issues and escalating these where appropriate.
* Supporting the Import Manager with reporting, data analysis and KPI tracking.
* Working closely with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance and Commercial teams.
* Helping ensure import documentation is complete, accurate and audit-ready.
* Supporting compliance with customs requirements, import regulations and company procedures.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, methodical and confident managing multiple priorities.

You will ideally have:

* Previous experience in an administrative role.
* Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Strong organisational and planning skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly **Excel**.
* Experience working with databases or ERP systems.
* The ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
* A proactive approach and the confidence to follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

* Import or export administration.
* Purchasing or procurement.
* Logistics or supply chain.
* Shipping documentation and international freight.
* ERP systems such as **SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite** or similar.
* International supply chains and freight movement

What You'll Bring

You'll be someone who takes ownership, spots problems before they become bigger issues and enjoys keeping things organised.

You’ll need to be a strong team player with a **can-do attitude**, good problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm when managing competing priorities. Most importantly, you'll take pride in getting the detail right and keeping colleagues and suppliers informed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business and build your experience within a busy import and supply chain environment

You'll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of activities, develop your knowledge of international supply chains and play a key role in ensuring products are available when they're needed.
