Promoting safe, skilled, and compliant driving through expert training and assessment.IntroductionThis role is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining a comprehensive driver assessment and training programme to support the safe and effective operation of Council services. The postholder will undertake driver assessments for new and existing drivers, provide both classroom-based and practical training, and support the wider Fleet Team in promoting a consistent approach to driver management. Working closely with operational teams, the role will help ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and organisational requirements, contributing to the highest standards of road safety, operational performance, and service delivery across North Northamptonshire Council.
