FLT Counterbalance Driver – £13.50 Per Hour – Monday to Friday

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.50 per hour, consistent Monday to Friday daytime hours and ongoing work within a busy warehouse environment.

£13.50 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 9am–5pm | Ongoing Work | Forklift & Warehouse Duties

This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, Counterbalance Forklift Operator or Warehouse Operative with a Counterbalance Licence.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 9:00am–5:00pm
 • Ongoing work available

Rates of Pay

 • £13.50 per hour, depending on experience

Day-to-Day Duties

As an FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include:

 • Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
 • Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse
 • Picking and packing customer orders
 • Relabelling products and preparing stock for dispatch
 • Moving stock between warehouse locations
 • Breaking down pallets and organising goods
 • Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
 • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment

Essential Skills

To be successful as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, you will need:

 • Valid and relevant Counterbalance FLT licence
 • Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
 • Willingness to undertake manual warehouse duties alongside forklift driving
 • Hardworking, proactive and reliable attitude
 • Ability to work efficiently in a hands-on environment

Desirable Experience

 • Previous warehouse experience

Training Provided

 • Role-specific guidance and support throughout your assignment
