About the role

We are a 5 bedded home for Children who have EBD (emotional and/or behavioural difficulties).
As part of the Aspris Children’s Service, our service is registered to accommodate 5 young people aged between the ages of 8 and 18 years old, this includes of any gender or non-binary.
We offer young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties a supportive and nurturing environment.

Due to the nature of this role, a full UK driving licence is required.

At Aspris, we want every young person to feel understood, supported, and ready to take on the world. That’s why our homes are shaped around the needs of each child - this ensures that all of our young people get the support that’s shaped around their strengths, challenges, and goals.

As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing home where children and young people can thrive. Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will lead shifts, support and mentor colleagues, and help ensure the highest standards of care are delivered at all times.

You will support our young people to build confidence, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes, whether that's learning essential life skills, engaging in hobbies and activities, maintaining education attendance, or enjoying new experiences within their local community. No two days are the same, from supporting with daily routines and fun activities, to managing challenging situations and celebrating achievements.

At Aspris, learning never stops - and that’s something we truly value. As a growing organisation, we rely on accurate, detailed data, which can include sensitive information such as incident reports and disclosures from young people. High attention to detail is essential to the role.

To support you, we offer continuous CPD and development opportunities, helping you grow and become the best version of yourself.
