Job Title: Primary School Teacher - SEN

Location: Runcorn, North West England

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a supportive school in Runcorn.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a nurturing environment that caters to pupils aged 5 to 16 with complex needs, including SEMH. The successful candidate will contribute to a positive learning atmosphere, supporting pupils’ academic and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Primary School Teacher based in Runcorn, your daily duties will include:

Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of pupils.
Supporting the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviour.
Monitoring and reporting on pupils’ progress and concerns, liaising with colleagues to ensure individual needs are met.
Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurriculars and school trips.
Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage interaction and foster a supportive learning environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Primary School Teacher, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
A strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
Previous successful teaching experience, preferably within a similar setting.
Experience working with pupils with SEMH and behaviour management techniques.
Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting.
