Business Development Manager - Northwest, Greater Manchester - Remote role so specific location isnt an issueUp to £45,000 (including car allowance) + uncapped commission
Realistic OTE £70,000 - £80,000+
We are recruiting for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a growing provider of professional business services to SME clients.
This is a true new-business role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building commercial relationships and creating opportunities from scratch. You will combine direct prospecting with the development of a network of referral and introducer partners.
The role
- Generate new business through outbound activity, networking, LinkedIn and relationship-led sales.
- Build and manage referral partnerships with professional advisers, brokers, consultants and other SME-focused businesses.
- Identify client challenges and present tailored, consultative solutions.
- Develop a sustainable pipeline of direct and partner-generated opportunities.
- Work autonomously while contributing to the continued commercial growth of the business.
- Proven B2B business-development or new-business sales experience.
- Ideally experienced in selling professional services, consultancy or other intangible solutions.
- Comfortable with self-generated prospecting and building relationships from the ground up.
- A consultative, commercially credible sales approach.
- Experience with referral, channel or partnership-led sales would be highly advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Salary of circa £45k - Including car allowance
- Uncapped commission structure - realistic first-year earnings of £70,000 - £80,000+, with strong long-term earning potential.
- Genuine autonomy and the opportunity to build a valuable referral network.
- Full training on the company’s services and proposition.
