Our client a local and successful butchery company are seeking a skilled Butcher to join their team in preparing high-quality meats for their customer base in Dingwall.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail. If you have experience in butchery and are committed to upholding food safety standards, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibilities/Duties (not limited to):

• Prepare and portion meat products

• Cut, trim, and bone carcass sections or prime cuts

• Ensure all meats are handled and stored correctly to maintain freshness

• Operate butchery equipment such as knives, saws, mincers, and slicers

• Maintain a clean and organised work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Butcher in food production setting

• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations

• Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads

• Certificate or qualification in butchery is desirable

The Benefits:

• Weekly pay

• Salary of £13.60 per hour

• 41 hours per week

• Working Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 16:00 and Fridays 06:30 - 14:00

• Due to the location candidates would need own transport
