Electrical Supervisor – Omagh

Location: Omagh, Co. Tyrone

Salary: £42 – 45k

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a project in Omagh.

Working closely with the Project and Contracts Management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of electrical operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation works on site.
• Manage electrical operatives and subcontractors, ensuring works are properly planned and resourced.
• Ensure installations comply with drawings, specifications and current regulations.
• Monitor progress, workmanship and productivity against the project programme.
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, building and other trades.
• Liaise with Project Managers, site management and other members of the project team.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available when required.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure RAMS and safe systems of work are followed.
• Carry out site inspections and oversee snagging and close-out of works.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Maintain accurate site and progress records.

About You

• A recognised electrical apprenticeship and relevant electrical qualifications.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, Foreperson or similar.
• Strong experience within electrical building services/M&E contracting.
• Good knowledge of commercial electrical installations and current regulations.
• Experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical information.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A good understanding of construction health & safety requirements.
• Relevant supervisory and health & safety qualifications would be advantageous.

• £42,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
