Salary: £27,804.60 - £38,082.60 per annum

Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated Senior Residential Support Workers to join our children’s home in Glynneath, supporting up to 4 young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Located in a semi-rural setting, our home provides a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people feel supported and valued.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Residential Support Worker based in Glynneath, your daily duties will include:

Providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
Acting as a positive role model and leader within the team, including shift leading responsibilities.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of young people by adhering to statutory requirements, health and safety policies, and risk assessments.
Supporting young people’s development through personalised care plans and therapeutic interventions.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful as a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will need:

Essential Qualification: QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
Required Experience: Minimum of 1 year working in a care setting, preferably with children and young people.
Mandatory Compliance: Full UK manual driving licence, registration with Social Care Wales (or willingness to register within 6 months).
Additional Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility for shift work including sleep-ins, and the ability to act as a positive role model.
