Help us support the arts in Wales

Do you want to work in the arts and help support theatre, performing arts and touring, or visual and applied arts that make Wales’s culture what it is?

If the arts inspire you, we’d love to hear from you.

About this role

We are recruiting two Arts Enablers: one permanent and one maternity cover, for the following areas:

- Visual and Applied Arts (Full-time, Maternity Cover - up to 12 months)
- Theatre, Performing Arts & Touring (Full-time, permanent)

This role is more than just admin. As an Arts Enabler, you’ll be part of an artform team working in theatre and performing arts or visual and applied arts. You’ll contribute to exciting projects, support your team with day-to-day work and gain real insight into how arts funding and development happen in practice. You’ll see firsthand how funding decisions are made, how applications are assessed and understand what drives Welsh arts organisations, as well as the challenges they face.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- helping to organise meetings, visits and events
- supporting team administration
- keeping accurate records
- answering enquiries
- learning how funding decisions and arts development processes work

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for people who:

- are organised and can manage their time
- communicate clearly with others
- are comfortable using IT software
- enjoy being part of a team
- are interested in arts and creativity
- willing to learn new things

Our commitment to inclusion

We're looking for fresh perspectives and new voices. Your lived experience matters here.

We are a Disability Confident Employer, committed to interviewing all disabled applicants who meet all essential criteria set out in the person specification.

Welsh language

We want people who can speak Welsh and people who want to learn Welsh to apply. What matters most is that you're curious and want to be part of Wales creative future.

Flexible working

We want to help staff balance work and life, so we welcome requests for flexible working or job‑share arrangements. We’re also part of the Happy to Talk Flexible Working initiative, which means we’re open to discussing flexibility from the moment you apply.

Closing date: 12:00 (midday) Friday 30 October 2026

Helpwch ni i gefnogi’r celfyddydau yng Nghymru

Ydych chi eisiau gweithio ym maes y celfyddydau a helpu i gefnogi theatr, y celfyddydau perfformio a theithio, neu’r celfyddydau gweledol a chymhwysol sy’n gwneud diwylliant Cymru yr hyn ydyw? Os yw’r celfyddydau yn eich ysbrydoli, hoffem glywed gennych.

Rydyn ni’n chwilio am bobl sy’n:

- drefnus ac yn gallu rheoli eu hamser eu hunain
- cyfathrebu’n glir ag eraill
- hyderus wrth ddefnyddio meddalwedd TG
- mwynhau gweithio fel rhan o dîm

Ein hymrwymiad i gynhwysiant

Rydym yn chwilio am safbwyntiau ffres a lleisiau newydd. Mae eich profiad bywyd yn bwysig yma.

Rydym yn gyflogwr Hyderus o ran Anabledd, ac rydym yn ymrwymo i gyfweld â’r holl ymgeiswyr anabl sy’n bodloni’r meini prawf hanfodol yn y manyleb rôl.

Y Gymraeg

Rydyn ni eisiau pobl sy’n siarad Cymraeg a phobl sydd eisiau dysgu. Yr hyn sy’n bwysicaf yw eich chwilfrydedd a’ch awydd i fod yn rhan o ddyfodol creadigol Cymru.

Gweithio Hyblyg

Rydyn ni eisiau helpu staff i gydbwyso gwaith a bywyd, felly rydym yn croesawu ceisiadau gweithio hyblyg neu drefniadau rhannu swydd. Rydym hefyd yn rhan o’r fenter Happy to Talk Flexible Working sy’n golygu ein bod yn agored i drafod hyblygrwydd o’r eiliad rydych chi’n gwneud cais.
