About the role
A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to work on major civil engineering projects and progress your career with a growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial and contractual aspects of projects
- Administer NEC and JCT contracts
- Prepare and negotiate variations and claims
- Monitor project costs and cash flow
- Liaise with clients and their representatives
- Mentor and develop junior commercial staff
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years experience in civil engineering contracts
- Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- Experience with infrastructure projects
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
- MRICS qualification preferred
