RESTRUCTURING & INSOLVENCY LAWYER – HS0045

Our client, a Legal 500 top ranked firm, renowned for their expertise in both domestic and cross border insolvency and restructuring matters,  is looking for an experienced Restructuring & Insolvency Associate, to join their London office.

The role will be varied, working on contentious and non-contentious advisory matters, with clients including insolvency practitioners, lenders, funds, corporates, stakeholders in restructurings, formal insolvencies and turnaround situations.  Typical cases include complex fraud matters, syndicated restructures, domestic and international debt and asset recovery mandates, trading administrations, financial regulatory matters and cross-border contentious mandates.

Requirements for the role:

• 2-4 years PQE in restructuring and insolvency within a recognised practice, including experience acting for a wide range of clients, including corporates, boards of directors, creditors and individuals on issues arising out of financial distress
• Ideally experience of working on both contentious and non-contentious matters, however candidates looking to broaden their skill set in this area would also be considered
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
• Analytical problem-solving skills with a commercial approach
• Ability to take an active role in the business development side of the business
