Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a reputable care provider in Carmarthenshire. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with learning disabilities, supporting their independence and personal development within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
As a Deputy Manager based in Carmarthenshire, your daily duties will include:

Assisting in the efficient and effective daily running of the home, taking responsibility for overall management in the absence of the manager
Supporting the development and supervision of staff through appraisals, supervisions, and return-to-work interviews
Assisting with rota planning to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times
Chairing staff meetings when required and supporting the on-call system for emergency decision-making
Promoting the safety, dignity, and rights of residents while supporting their engagement with the wider community and leisure activities

Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful as a Deputy Manager, you will need:

Level 3 QCF in Care or equivalent qualification
Experience at a senior level within a Residential Social Care setting
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to undergo)
